Orbital Cinema is a live video performance comprising mobile and stationary components. In the performance, all three elements of filmmaking will happen simultaneously: the filming process, editing and screening. Yue Han acts as the video-capturing “satellite”, and the car as the mode of display with Urich on the console, manipulating the output of the “film” – the work seeks to reinterpret the form and expression of conventional cinema, making it instantaneous and mobile.
